Installation for Honda Foreman 500 ES Shift Bypass.

Install Foreman 500 ES shifter bypass.

Locate the left handlebar switch connector where it connects into the harness. 

Large green connector 10 wire connector for 05-06 models and a 14 wire connector for 07-11 models.

It is located above the left front upper shock bolt mounted on the frame.

Removing the upper rack helps.

Large Green Connector YOU MUST REMOVE the connector from the frame clip to unplug the two large connectors.

Connect the plugs inline with the GREEN connector.

Connect the 2 shift kit large grey matching plugs inline with it. YOU MUST REMOVE the connector from the frame clip to unplug it ! They can be very difficult to unplug clean all dirt away from retainer clip and sealing edges always pull on the plug not the wires.

Relay Mounting Position

Next connect the round 2 wire plug on the kit to your shift motor matching connector on right side frame rail near fan motor.

Route the Harness

 Route the harness on the upper right frame rail securing any loose or extra wiring.Then connect negative black and positive red leads to your battery.Secure all wiring and relays to the frame or main wire harness keeping it away from hot or moving parts.
